Description : Gangetic Gagata is a medium-sized stoutly built species whose body is laterally compressed.Its head is broadly pointed in front and has a small mouth having 4 pairs of barbels.Coloration varies from opaque yellow merging to dull-grey below.Its dorsal fins are pointed and longer than the head.
