Description : Glass barb is an elongated bodied fish with a slightly longer upper jaw.Eyes are large and sometimes a pair of barbels are present.Body is lucid with light greenish and silvery bands on sides.A black spot is present at the base of anterior dorsal rays and a black stain on the side of caudal fin.
